UPDATES, NOTICES, MUSINGS:

9/8/09: The book signing event was great! Thanks to everyone who came out and bought a book. Good news, my next book WOLFWALKER will be represented by my agent, Faye Swetky. Please go to the LATEST BOOK page and check it out. There's a new look on the website. Hope you enjoy!

8/20/09: BOOK SIGNING EVENT!!! Although I hadn't planned to do any book signings this year, I have given in to popular demand. I will be appearing at the Somers Day of Arts and Crafts in Somers CT, on September 6, 2009. I will be appearing right in front of the town hall on Route 190 in Somers. As my first two books are now out of print, I will be selling and signing copies of my third book, THE LEGENDARY.

On another front, the release of BLOOD LEGACY has been delayed for the time being. There are simply too many vampire books trying to get through publishing doors these days. My agent, Faye Swetky, is now looking at my first werewolf novel. Hopefully, this one gets a few bites.

1/12/09: This website is going under construction. Need to clear out the cobwebs and post some new info, also planning to give it a new look. You should see some changes within the next few weeks. Eventually the Myspace counterpart will reflect some changes as well.

11/10/08:  I just received a notice from PublishAmerica (my old publisher) that The Requiem is about to go out of print.  I could renew my contract, but after deliberation I am deciding not to do so.  This will make the book far more difficult to find, but all the rights will revert back to me.  Meaning, if a new publisher wants to buy up the rights, they will be able to.  It was a hard decision to reach, but I believe that the time has come to take a big step into the unknown and hope for the future.  If the last few days have taught me anything, it has been to persevere and believe in one's dreams.  They may take a little longer to reach, but in the end it will be worth it. So if you've been thinking of purchasing a copy of The Requiem, BUY IT NOW!!!  It will soon be out of print, and before you know it, out of stock.  I won't even have any copies left.

Eternal Night in question: UPDATE 12/11/08!! Eternal Night is now OUT OF PRINT as well. You might still be able to get used copies but PublishAmerica is not going to print any more copies. Even so, I'm still looking for a new publisher. Let's keep our fingers crossed for my agent, Faye Swetky

6/7/08:  It's been a long time without an update.  Truth is, I've been extremely busy...moving, working, trying to have a bit of a social life.  I'm still waiting on a publisher for Blood Legacy (formerly known as Dragon Slayer).  I will post as soon as I have some news.  There will possibly be a book signing at the end of the summer.  I will post on that once I have an official date.  I won't be doing the Taste of Enfield this year, there is just too much happening in my personal life.  Enjoy the warm weather...summer is almost here!

2/4/08:  If you'd like to catch a first hand glimpse of what's going on with my latest work, you can click the following link and go to my agent's website. She has a nice posting up about the novel. It was formerly titled Dragon Slayer, now titled Blood Legacy.  Enjoy!  http://www.amsaw.org/swetkyagency/submissionsynopsis-barone-bloodlegacy.html

1/13/08:  Good news!  I've recently aquired an agent!  She's very into my vampire novels, so it looks like DRAGON SLAYER may see some shelf-life yet.  It's very exciting.  Also, I've been working as a Reading Tutor for first graders, which keeps me focused and on my toes.  Of course, it also means I've been slacking off in the writing department, but I hope to get back to work shortly!  Happy New Year!
